Occupation: Member Service Advisor

Life goal:
I aim to travel the world to see as many places as I can.

Favourite type of workout:
My favorite workout is running. I love the cardio.

Why do you love the game of hockey: Hockey is a very entertaining sport! You never know what is going to happen during a hockey game, and watching the fans is always an experience to remember. Each game played can be so different and memorable in different ways.

Something unique about you:
I am an identical twin!

Favourite place in Oil Country:
My favourite place in Oil Country is being outside. Anywhere outside, but the farm back home is always closest to my heart. I never get tired of going back to visit.

Dream vacation: My dream vacation would be to travel around eastern countries and visit places like museums and art galleries, castles and just experiencing the foods and lands of these different places. But it would most definitely top it off if it was all inclusive so that I could travel with ease and simplicity.

Best concert I've ever been to: I haven’t been to many concerts, but out of the ones I have been to it is most definitely a tie between Carrie Underwood at Rexall and Keith Urban at Big Valley Jamboree.

Favourite food:
Vietnamese Foods

Dream date: If I were to go on my dream date I would be taken to a nice dinner or lunch and then to walk under a clear starry sky (if in the evening) in a beautifully gardened park that is lighted softly by lamps where I can just walk around and enjoy the quiet getting to know someone.

Prized possession:
My vehicle is my prized possession. It gets me to where I want to be when I want to be there and connects me to everyone I care about. It is a work in progress with my dad, and may not be prized in someone else’s eyes but I it’s a gem in mine.

Words to live by: Treat other people the way that you would like to be treated.

Describe your personal style: I would say I have a very random style that usually reflects my mood, and can range significantly from comfortable clothes to suits. My go-to outfit for any day that I could play up or down would be a black t-shirt and a pair of dark jeans.

Why did you want to be part of the Octane: The Octane was a way that I could improve myself as an individual and still do the things I love as a group. It has offered me a way to continue to volunteer and help the community but still have fun learning new things, and improve my hobbies and skills. The girls and coaches have always been fantastic and I would not give up on my family as they would not give up on me. It is a sisterhood I am honored to be a part of and would do a lot for. I hope to spark the same hope and feeling of belonging in someone as part of the Octane, as other members have done for me.

Who inspires you: I am inspired by so many people it is hard to choose. I take tidbits of information from my friends and family and as I listen to their hardships and see how strong each one can be in their own way it makes me happy to know them, and makes me want to keep improving myself.

What is your performance background:
I have only one year of training with the Oilers Octane.

Favourite quote: “Go for it now. The future is promised to no one.” ~Wayne Dyer

If you were on a hockey team, what position would you be: If I were on a hockey team I would consider myself a goalie. I am consistently trying to protect, not letting one goal let me down, but trying harder to stop it from happening again. I can pick myself up, and try and try again.

Best part of being a member of the Octane: The best part about being an Octane member is getting to step into experiences I would never have been able to step into on my own. Octane has allowed me to meet so many fantastic people. The adventures of an Octane are well worth the time put into being one.
