TOP 5 - OILERS STANLEY CUP FINAL GAMES
#5 - Game 5, 2006
The Carolina Hurricanes won three of the first four games of the 2006 Cup Final and had a chance to wrap up the series in Game 5 at the RBC Center in Raleigh, but the Oilers proved they had plenty of life left in them. The teams took a 3-3 tie into overtime, paving the way for Fernando Pisani to make NHL history. The winger continued his outstanding post-season run by scoring the first shorthanded overtime goal in Cup Final history and sending the series back to Edmonton for Game 6.
